famous paintings of claude monet, van gogh, edvard munch, johannes vermeer, leonardo da vinci and salvador dali turned into a furry art project

the thing with famous artists and their even more famous works of art is that people all over the world love to recreate them. sometimes brush stroke for brush stroke. but not always.

take turkish artist – murat yildirim for example. his interpretation of the masters and their famous paintings took us quite by surprise. in the most unusual of ways. but with the amount of work that he has put in the detailing, you can’t, not love the end result.

murat says, “it has long been common to reproduce the world’s most famous paintings by imitation. in this abstract idea, i used furs as a creative tool to move world-famous paintings forward. with this effect, i combined the colors of all pictures in an innovative and vibrant way. i have been impressed by classical paintings since my childhood. however, since modern art has become digital, i have turned all this into my favorite 3d artwork.”

here is murat yildirim’s interpretation of the world’s most famous artists and their work. he has taken, salvador dali’s – the persistence of memory, edvard munch’s – the scream, vincent van gogh’s – starry night, leonardo da vinci’s mona lisa, johanees vermeer’s – the girl with a pearl earring and claude monet’s – soleil levant and turned them into furry 3d art.

you can follow, murat on behance and also on instagram.
