a los angeles based artist – matthew grabelsky had spent much of his childhood days in new york. and it is this background that he uses to create a form of art that mixes animal art and hyper realistic art by creating oil paintings of people travelling in the underground network but with animal heads.
the result is a juxtaposition of the kind of the person and the animal that resembles it the closest. often with a very amusing outcome.
