we’ve seen installation art. we’ve seen gigantic examples of installation art. and we’ve seen tiny examples of installation art. we’re now in a space and age where we are inside installation art.
called immersible sculptures. they envelop you in an experience as the artist imagined it. we recently came across one such installation artist and we were in love.
the installation art or immersible sculptures as they are called were bright, cheery and so full of joy.
we’re talking about cyril lancelin – a french artist who lives and works in lyon. he combines art and technology and envisions sculptures and images that bring the viewer into his digital world. one look at his creations and you start to question fiction and reality.
cyril says, “i use parametric tools and utilizes a vocabulary of classical shapes and volumetric spaces that are essential to create unique structures. in my vision, forms are used at the architectural scale to create experiential art.”
