what do you do when you go to a different city? probably whip out your cellphone or that fancy high-end camera and start clicking away.
right?
we would probably do the same.
but that’s not what maja wrońska would do.
a polish architect and and illustrator – maja absorbs the entire view and then starts to paint it using her trusty watercolors and canvas. the result is a series of breathtakingly serene watercolor paintings of some of your top cities to travel to.
over time, maja has created cityscapes of different places around the world. like the tower bridge in london, the golden gate bridge in san francisco, a lil cafe in havana and even the taj mahal in india.
the entire range of serene watercolor paintings are available on maja’s website and you can also buy them from her e-store and on society6.
what’s interesting is that she has recently brought out a colouring book that has 51 city scenes from countries around southern europe like italy, spain, france, portugal and greece. we went through it and it makes an ideal gift for someone who loves travelling or just loves coloring
here are a few of maja’s work that caught our eye. we hope you love them as much as we did.
