mass manufacturing can go take a hike. or should be say, go take a spin. if you love unique, classy and one-of-a-kind pieces and we’re not talking about just art but of normal, everyday kind of objects. then you’ll love 31 & change.
this chicago based furniture company founded by kurt lenard, an ex- graphic designer and creative director, designs with “a twist, wink and a smile in mind”.
kurt creates a limited number of pieces. and the reason he does that is so that each piece has it’s own graphic expression. one such series is the logan boulevard skateboard. made 100% real hardwood blocks, they retain the original wood’s characteristics like the holes and the barks.
you can follow, kurt’s work on his website 31 & change. and if you love the longboards or any of his other creations, you can buy them straight off the site.
